Early signs of pregnancy before missed period

Everyone knows that menses that have not come on time can talk about the conception of a new life. This sign is one of the very first and most reliable indications of pregnancy. But many women are sure that they knew that they were pregnant long before the missed period. As proof, they cite some signs of pregnancy before the delay in menstruation. Although in the very first days the embryo has not yet had time to take root in the uterus, and this period cannot be considered a full-fledged pregnancy, certain changes in the body of the future woman in labor are already beginning to appear.

Early signs of pregnancy associated with the endocrine and nervous system

Changes in the central nervous system are noticeable already at an early stage of bearing a child. So, the first signs of pregnancy before the delay in menstruation appear in:

increased irritability, fatigue and drowsiness;

intolerance to a number of odors, changes in taste, nausea and dizziness.

In the first case, the central nervous system includes protective mechanisms that prevent excessive fatigue of the pregnant woman. The second group of signs is associated with the restructuring of the vagus nerve tone.

The endocrine system is included in the pregnancy process even before fertilization.

Correct work of the hypothalamus, pituitary gland and ovaries influences the preparation of the female genital area for fertilization and is responsible for the development of the egg. Visually, hormonal changes can manifest itself in skin pigmentation or changes in the outlines of the future mother's face.

Changes in metabolism

As soon as fertilization has occurred, the woman's metabolism takes a course towards satisfying all the necessary substances of the fetus.

So, the increased production of digestive enzymes begins, the concentration of minerals and amino acids in the blood increases. Already at an early stage, a pregnant woman begins to experience an increased need for vitamins.
Internal organs are also undergoing restructuring. The cardiovascular area is especially stressed, which manifests itself in a rapid heart rate and increased blood pressure. The respiratory system, as well as the work of the kidneys, switches to an enhanced mode of operation.

The female genitals also undergo significant modification. The size, mass and volume of the uterine cavity grows, the ovaries and fallopian tubes increase, the external genital organs become larger, the breasts are poured.

Changes in the digestive system

The first signs of pregnancy appear very well through the digestive system.

A woman may notice an increased appetite, cravings for sweet or salty foods, and a manifestation of aversion to certain foods. An increased activity of the vagus nerve can cause constipation. Morning nausea, vomiting and dizziness can also tell about the "interesting situation".

The first symptoms indicating conception

Not every woman can notice the early signs of pregnancy before missed periods. Often, many symptoms have nothing to do with the birth of a new life. Meanwhile, a woman can feel:

  • Minor tingling or pulling pain in the lower abdomen.
  • Breast growth and tenderness.
  • Increased vaginal discharge.
  • Frequent urge to urinate.
  • Slight brown discharge outside the period.
  • Rise in rectal temperature.
  • Manifestation on the abdomen, chest and limbs of the vascular pattern.
  • Disorder of the digestive system.
  • Increased salivation.

Many of the first symptoms may indicate the development of some kind of disease. Therefore, even if there are several signs, it is not possible to say with confidence about the early stage of pregnancy.

It should be borne in mind that the early signs of pregnancy can only appear on the sixth to seventh day after fertilization.

A woman who wants to have a baby always listens to her body, she can say with confidence about the desired changes in it. On the other hand, the expectant mother, who did not plan to be with her in the near future, will not associate changes in the body with pregnancy until the delay in menstruation.

Changes in feelings during pregnancy

Many women do not associate the first signs of pregnancy before the delay in menstruation. They begin to experience symptoms that resemble those of colds:

  • general malaise;
  • headaches (read why a headache causes other than pregnancy);
  • rhinitis, sore throat and cough (about the treatment of ARVI is described here);
  • frequent changes in pressure;
  • chill followed by fever.

This condition can accompany a pregnant woman as early as the second week after conception. Sudden fainting and dizziness often aggravate the situation. Cold symptoms are due to the fact that the woman's immunity has not yet been rebuilt to bear the fetus.

Nausea, frequent mood swings, rapid fatigability - all this is associated with the physiological transformation taking place in the body of a pregnant woman. In addition, early terms can be characterized by the following external manifestations:

Doctor's advice:

Pregnancy planning must be approached responsibly in order to lay everything in the developing baby for his further successful life. Every pregnancy must be planned and prepared accordingly. When a woman decides that she wants to become a mother, it is imperative to visit a gynecologist for additional examination and start taking the necessary medications (folic acid 400 mcg 1 time per day for both partners 3 months before the expected pregnancy)
